FAQ

Measuring questions

Should I measure in inches or centimetres?

Either works on our order form, but most Indian tailors work in inches, so inches make it easier to check against a suit you already own.

Do I need someone to help?

For shoulder width, jacket length and sleeve, yes: it's hard to hold the tape straight across your own back. Chest, stomach, neck and waist you can do alone in front of a mirror.

Tight or loose?

Snug, not tight. You should be able to slide one finger under the tape. Don't add extra for comfort: we add the right ease for the fit you pick.

What if I get one wrong?

Our form flags numbers outside the usual range, and we call you before cutting if anything looks off. Alterations are free if something still needs a tweak.

Would a home visit be easier?

Probably. The visit is free anywhere in Delhi NCR and takes about 20 minutes. Book a tailor at home.
